OBJECTIVES

​

• Know the parts of the snipe and their functions.


• Assembly and disassembly of the snipe.


• Bearings in relation to the wind and function of the sails. 


• Turn and jibe without losing the spatial situation.


• Balance of the boat.


• Stop, balance and start the snipe.  

 

• Orientation in relation to the wind.

LEVEL II

Requirements

Level I certificate or basic knowledge accreditation.

Certification of the achievement of the objectives set by our instructors.

OBJECTIVES

​

• Man overboard maneuver.

​

• Stop at a certain point.


• Navigate in reverse.


• Control of the sails, balance, speed with the rod.


• Dump and right.


• Taking of beacons.


• Turn while maintaining an optimal departure angle.

​

• Complete and understand a regatta course.

LEVEL III

Requirements

Level II certificate or accreditation of knowledge from previous courses.

Duration

6 pm (10am to 2:30 pm, weekends).

Purpose

Certification of the achievement of the objectives set by our instructors.

OBJECTIVES

​

• Jibe with and without wind maintaining balance and speed.

​

• Navigate downwind with a pole, with the appropriate weight and trim.

​

• Sail controlling the balance, sails and weight.

 

• Browse very luffed and fast mode.
 

• Stop the boat at the starting line for 1 minute.


• Complete and understand any regatta course.
